The splutter of drops,

Echos the thoughts,

The lightning of thunder,

Reminds me of you.

Only if, I could compare you and rain

There is nothing which wouldn’t have stayed the same,

Only if we could smell the union of Earth and rain,

Everything would have stayed the same.

Didn’t you were always swayed by the love of winds

Butterfly of mine still finds it enigmatic

How’s inner child of yours,

You both still cuddle the puddle?

Only if, my words were you and rain!

Only if, our stories were serene and picturesque,
